The source proposes large Gaian orbital structures connecting planetary surfaces, moons and stations. The most physically grounded component is the space-elevator family: high-tensile tether systems extending beyond synchronous orbit where planetary rotation and material constraints permit. It also proposes field-based oscillation damping and infrastructure around Lagrange regions.
The phrase ‘space bridges’ should not imply literal rigid bridges spanning interplanetary distances. ‘Lagrange anchors’ and ‘space arcs’ need technical clarification. Earth and Mars require different tether architectures, and material requirements remain extreme.
Narratively, surviving orbital fragments could provide archaeological evidence of pre-catastrophe reach, derelict infrastructure, archives or routes. Keep available as WORKING rather than assuming the story needs them.
Open questions
- Did Gaerath actually build surface-to-orbit tethers?
- Which bridge fragments, if any, survived the catastrophe?
- Would surviving infrastructure create a detection problem for modern Earth?
