The names and locations remain WORKING rather than current canon. Their old associations—such as Atlantic Fringe as Tadhg’s lineage site, geothermal or solar “cradle” functions, and explanations of later human cultural achievements—are not retained.
The broader purpose remains plausible: Gaian settlements or outposts involved in long-term Earth adaptation, sustaining communities on Velora, and coexistence with existing human populations.
