Character: Fin

Character Archetype Treatments

Wizard-of-Oz-derived character treatments are retained as authorial lenses rather than literal story mechanics.

Fin

Fin is Rowan’s advanced Gaian prosthetic and an increasingly agentic intelligence. Its relationship with Rowan is mutual rather than master/tool: the Synaptic Handshake binds two participants with agency.

Rowan Quinn / Kaia Sat-Danu

Rowan/Kaia is the central moral agent of DOG. Her defining development is not acquisition of power but the ability to pause, listen, refuse the expected move, and remain herself while others attempt to define her as vessel, weapon, heir, or prophecy.
