Gaerath established at least three colonies on Earth before catastrophe. Their separation, dispersal and assimilation become the basis of the Forgetting.
Era: Ancient Earth Colonies
Red Mesa Enclave
An ancient Gaian Earth colony/outpost in the Four Corners/Chaco Plateau region, associated with ferric architecture, agrarian experimentation and astronomy.
The Toy
After extraterrestrial contact forces scientists to reconsider a roughly six-thousand-year-old archaeological anomaly, Jean Munro and her team discover that an object containing physics beyond modern Earth’s capabilities was not a weapon, engine, or sacred device, but a broken child’s toy — evidence that the ancient Gaian colonies on Earth were homes as well as outposts.
