Topic: Fin

Rowan / Kaia Sat-Danu

Rowan/Kaia is the young protagonist: visibly mottled, injured in a farm accident, given Fin, repeatedly misread as vessel/weapon/prophecy, and ultimately defined by her capacity to refuse imposed uses of power.

Climax

Kaia has the power to fight Danu but refuses the transactional contest: she disconnects Fin and walks away; Danu attacks, Heka intervenes and dies protecting both daughters from the ultimate consequence.
