Older material offers incompatible endings: Danu reaches again for power and is destroyed; Danu voluntarily withdraws her order; Danu dies; Danu ‘transcends’; or Danu survives into a changed political order.

Current thematic architecture suggests a narrower question. After her controlling story collapses, does Danu freely choose one right action when it matters? Such an act would not erase her crimes or restore what she damaged. It would establish the possibility of moral reorientation.

This fits the working moral grammar: redemption is not cancellation of consequence but one freely chosen right action at the decisive moment.

No specific action is canon yet.

Open questions

  • Does Danu survive?
  • What consequence follows regardless of any right action?
  • What single action could be genuinely costly, voluntary, and non-self-exonerating?
