Useful capability family: magnetic adhesion to ferromagnetic structures; field-assisted short-range hops or directional changes; braking/catching during falls; controlled interaction with built environments; and potentially sophisticated movement where suitable conductive/ferromagnetic infrastructure and adequate energy are available.
The older source described geomagnetic ‘rivers,’ compassion producing full power, Fin refusing locomotion when Rowan tries to dominate, and Rowan eventually riding Earth’s magnetic field to the Moon. Those elements are not accepted as current mechanics. Earth’s field is too weak to serve as a convenient human-scale reaction structure for such feats without extraordinary energy and hardware.
Movement should remain an application of Fin’s bounded field manipulation plus Rowan’s intentional control through the Synaptic Handshake. Fin’s own agency can matter; physics itself does not judge Rowan’s emotions.

- What is the maximum force/range Fin can produce on Earth?
- Does locomotion require external ferromagnetic mass, deployed anchors, or reaction mass?
- Can Fin safely cushion a fall without injuring Rowan?
