Danu’s final disposition remains open. Current theme favors consequence plus a possible freely chosen right act over either clean redemption or simple villain death.
Status: WORKING
Danu and Maerlin / Anne
Maerlin/Anne can function for Danu as a living symbol of replacement: Heka answers loss and species survival with a scientific duplicate/derivative rather than presence with his daughter.
Danu’s Breakdown
Danu’s breakdown should be the collapse of the story she has used to organize reality, not a tantrum, instant redemption, or clean confession.
Danu and Earth Colonization
A strong current motive for Danu’s Earthward move is her recognition that Earth is approaching permanent settlement of Mars/Gaerath. Isolation has an expiration date, so she chooses to control the timing and terms of contact.
Danu Appearance and Public Mask
Older Danu design material offers a useful contrast between gracious public control and private volatility, but the genetic-beautification explanation remains unsettled.
